Privacy policy for Matheomatik
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Matheomatik is a maths app for children aged 6–12 from Wallgrn Studios. The app is built to not collect any personal data.
What the app stores
- Players: the name (or nickname) and chosen character for each player that is added.
- Results: which questions were answered and how it went, stars, medals, stickers, items from the shop and the level test result.
- Settings: language, sound, read-aloud, calm mode and seasonal themes.
- Handwriting (from the next update): digits from correct handwritten answers, so the app reads that child’s handwriting better. Can be deleted in Settings.
Everything is stored only on the device. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no sign-in, no accounts and no cloud sync.
Duels across several iPads
From the next update, several iPads in the same room can compete with each other. Only the player’s name, character and answers are sent, encrypted and directly between the iPads over nearby Wi-Fi or Bluetooth (Apple’s MultipeerConnectivity). Nothing goes over the internet or to any server, and nothing is stored by us. iPadOS asks for permission to find devices on the local network the first time.
What the app does not do
- No advertising.
- No tracking, analytics or third-party code (SDKs) that collects data.
- No purchases with real money. Stars in the shop can only be earned by playing.
- No links out of the app.
- Read-aloud and handwriting recognition are done by iOS/iPadOS on the device.
Parental gate
Actions that delete data – resetting statistics or removing a player – are protected by a question for grown-ups.
Deleting data
A grown-up can reset a player's statistics under Progress, or remove the player under Who's playing?. Deleting the app removes all data.
