Matheomatik in the classroom
Matheomatik is a free maths app for grades 1–6 that follows the Swedish curriculum (Lgr22). Pupils practise at their own pace, get picture-based explanations when they answer wrong, and Matheo brings back what needs repeating. No accounts, no ads, no purchases.
Curriculum mapping (Lgr22)
Every area has three levels. Choose a level freely, or let the placement test suggest where each pupil should start.

Classroom tips
A few short questions per area. Matheo then suggests where each pupil should start on the adventure map.
Two pupils on one iPad – same question, first correct answer wins the point. A great warm-up.
A new area every week, the same questions for everyone. Talk about it on Friday: how did you think?
No time pressure, fewer answer options and picture support in the question – for pupils who need more time.
Pupils can write answers with a finger or Apple Pencil. In the next update the app also learns each pupil’s handwriting.
Questions and tips in two languages at once, e.g. Swedish with Arabic, Somali, Ukrainian, Tigrinya or Dari.
Larger, airier text and every question read aloud – support for pupils with dyslexia.
Tricky questions come back after 1, 3 and 7 days until they stick.
Worksheets and weekly report
Under Settings → Weekly report and worksheets (behind a grown-up check) you’ll find:
- New PDF worksheets for every area and level, with answers on page two. Print or share via AirDrop.
- New Weekly report per pupil: how much was practised, what went well, common mistakes with Matheo’s explanation and a tip to talk about.
Privacy and GDPR
Matheomatik does not collect any personal data. Pupils’ names, results and handwriting are stored only on the iPad and are never sent anywhere – there is no server, no analytics and no third-party services. That means no data processing agreement with us is needed. Read the full privacy policy.
Several pupils can share one iPad: add one player per pupil by tapping the name at the top of the start screen. Removing a player requires a grown-up check.
