In short
- DotZero has no account, no ads, no tracking and no server of its own.
- What you do in the app is stored on your iPhone and Apple Watch and synced directly between them. The app does not send this information to Wallgrn Studios.
- Apple Health and Calendar are optional. They are only used to suggest resets at better moments and never leave your devices through us.
- We do not sell, rent or share information from the app with anyone.
1. Who is responsible
DotZero is developed by Wallgrn Studios (“we”). This policy describes how the DotZero app for Apple Watch and iPhone, and its widgets and complications, handle information. Questions can be sent to our contact address.
2. Information stored on your devices
To work, DotZero stores the following locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch:

Sync between iPhone and Apple Watch happens directly between your devices using Apple's WatchConnectivity. It does not pass through any server of ours. A limited copy of today's status is shared, within your devices, with DotZero's widgets and complications (via an App Group).
3. Apple Health (optional)
If you choose to enable it, DotZero can:
- Read your steps in the last 30 minutes, your recent workouts and when you woke up – only to avoid movement suggestions right after activity, to offer a cool-down after a workout and a gentle start after waking.
- Write the water you log in DotZero, if you explicitly turn on “Save water to Health”. No other health data is written.
Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never shared with third parties and never sent to us. How Apple Health stores and may sync data via iCloud is governed by Apple and your settings. You can change permissions at any time in the Health app.
4. Calendar (optional)
If you turn on calendar awareness, DotZero reads only the start and end times of your events to stay quiet during meetings and offer a reset afterwards. Titles, locations, notes and attendees are not read. The times are not stored; they are only used while the plan is calculated.
5. Notifications, Siri, Shortcuts and widgets
- Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. We use no push service.
- When you use Siri, Shortcuts, Control Center, Focus filters or the Action button, your request is handled by Apple under Apple's terms; DotZero only receives the action itself (for example “log water”).
- Voice guidance is produced by on-device speech synthesis.
6. What we do not do
- The app requires no account and does not send names, email addresses or phone numbers to us.
- We show no ads and use no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking services.
- We do not track you across apps and websites.
- We have no server that receives data from the app.
On the App Store, DotZero is therefore listed as “Data Not Collected”.
7. Crash reports
If you have chosen in your iPhone's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with privacy-protected crash and performance information. We use it only to fix problems. You control this under Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
8. Retention and deletion
Information stays on your devices until you remove it. You can delete individual resets in History, undo a log right after making it and remove your own resets in My resets. Deleting the app removes all DotZero data from that device. Water saved to Apple Health is managed in the Health app.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights including access, rectification and erasure of personal data. You manage the app's local information on your devices. If you email support, we receive your email address and message, use them to reply and keep them for as long as needed to handle your request. Contact us to access, correct or delete that correspondence. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Sweden, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY).
10. Children
DotZero does not collect any information from anyone, whatever their age.
11. Not medical advice
DotZero is a wellness app and not a medical device. It does not diagnose anything and does not replace medical advice. Always move within a comfortable range and stop if anything hurts.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date above and describe significant changes here and in the app's release notes.
